Damn, I must have used up all my drawing energy in my last entry...
Anyway, thanks for the support, guys. I miss you all. Please support my entries to Wacom's Bring Your Vision to Life contest:

Speaking of which, I think the special award that will be given by dA as an add-on to Wacom's contest is quite unfair. They'll be giving a special prize equivalent to Wacom's first prize to the entry with the most number of faves! I mean, come on, what chance do unpopular artists such as myself stand against those popular ones who get like a thousand views and faves the minute they upload? They're great, yes, and they deserve all the huge following from their watchers, but I think dA shouldn't have used the 'fave counter' as a basis for their special award winner.
Well, anyway, who am I to question that? It's their money anyway.
I'm gonna feature my faves tomorrow. Right now, I need to rest.
Thanks for the 11K views!

You know here in the Philippines, show business is filled with superficial popularity. Take, for instance, these teen actors who could barely speak intellectually engage in song and dance performances but you can tell that they really suck, and yet fans are screaming to the top of their lungs - just because they're 'cute'.
Same here in dA, I see a lot of deviations that do not strike me that much in terms of creativity and obvious love and effort for the craft - yet they are so damn popular. I see comments like, "OMG, that is sooooo awesoome!" but when I look at it - huh?
Oh well. Maybe that's just me. Hope you'll excuse me Nadi, I'm just a sentimental old fart
And it does tend to happen on devART as well. its sad really. its sad that really good talent is ignored
sometimes, the favs themselves don't reflect the work's quality
But I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
I stood up for you buddy.
I know you always got my back sweetie
