It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

AFTER MUCH CONTEMPLATING...

I've finally decided to do a journal entry. I'm sick and tired of seeing my "It's Mah Birthday!" entry last March.

After being held captive by Facebook's Farmville and Cafe World for a long period, I've finally had the courage to say 'enough!', and just quit cold turkey - just like what I did with smoking nearly seven years ago. I picked up the pen again and sketched.

How I missed drawing like crazy. Now it's just by chance that I bump my head on an idea and put it in black and white. I'm less creative now (I think). I'm back to my old, procrastinating self. Yessss.

I bought a camera after my birthday, so there goes another distraction. I'm trying to explore in that field, but my first love will always be the pencil. Basically, I do it for you guys

Oh, by the way, thank you so much to my new watchers and all the kind people who viewed, left comments and faved my work. It always excites me to see messages. I will always reply to you, of course.

I saw Iron Man 2 with my family a few days ago, and... yeah, it was... yeah. Don't wanna hit a few nerves, so I'll just say it was g-g-great.

I'm not really a big Marvel fan, but I do watch 'em movies. Tell me what you think of the movie if you've seen it.

I want to do another portrait. Any suggestions?
