I revised this DD featured piece, "Hair There and Everywhere" after it got a few comments about the face and I didn't argue about that because I thought it indeed needed some adjustment.
It was painstaking because I don't usually erase and redo, especially if it's pencil on paper because it leaves nasty scratches on the surface, resulting to unevenness of lead "absorption" by the paper (I couldn't think of any other term right now).
I'm also submitting this separately instead of replacing the image that was featured as a DD, to remind myself that strange things really do happen here on dA. Like I said, I never imagined that Hair There and Everywhere would be a DD because it's not DD material.

Both pieces are beautiful. Let me ask you a stupid question. Do you use any drafting tools like a french curve or anything of that nature when you are drawing the hair?
