"God... what am I gonna do now?" John said as he puts out the last stick of cigarette.
The devil laughed. And so now he calls God? "I still can't believe you fell for that... again!" said the devil, still laughing at the plight of John. Why wouldn't he? Countless times has John fallen into the devil's trap - bribes from hopeful suppliers who wanted to win John's approval on their bid. "How did the company find out? What the hell am I gonna tell my family now? What about our way of life?" "Heads up, John..." said the angel, as she tries to fight her disappointment, "The storm is yet to come." ------------ This is my first entry to *Nelleke and =0Hamster0's STORM contest. Check it out --> [link] and [link] A storm could mean a lot of things - fear, hope, courage, etc. I figured my style wouldn't be effective if I drew a climate change. So, being a pencil artist inclined to drawing people, this is how I would draw a storm. Please join if you're up to it. They've got some yummy prizes too. Drawn with a 0.5 2B mechanical pencil and a smudge stick on a regular, 90 gsm letter paper. Daily DeviationGiven 2008-08-01Whereas the age old battle between the devil and angel on either shoulder may never cease, Inner Storm brings a unique flavor of torment to the table. *FireCaster creates such a tense atmosphere with his facial expressions and skewed perspective. The cigarette butts are a nice touch, too. (Featured by ^oilsoaked) |
